A Nuraphone — the headphones that measure your hearing and tune themselves to it. On first set-up the built-in microphones listen to the tiny sounds your inner ear makes in response to test tones (otoacoustic emissions), then build a sound profile that is unique to you.

The design is unusual: an in-ear bud sits inside each over-ear cup. The buds handle mids and highs, the cups handle bass you can feel, and the two layers together give strong passive isolation on top of the active noise cancellation.
